ARES

Ares is the most compact post in the Comavit range with punched slots. It is designed for plantations with yields not exceeding 18 tons per hectare, where it offers good resistance to wind. Indeed, its refined cross-section provides mechanical properties superior to those of other posts with similar external dimensions.

Laboratory tests simulating the post's behavior in the field have shown that any potential post breakage due to wind action occurs at a distance from the ground of less than 70 cm. Therefore, it is recommended to position the first pair of hooks at least 75 cm above ground level to ensure that the entire section withstands lateral loads. Upon request, the first hook can be supplied as single instead of a pair, thereby improving the resistance of the post.
